MINNEAPOLIS - Both University of Minnesota hockey teams won their respective games Saturday.
The No. 2 men's team won an exhibition game 7-0 over Canada's Lethbridge University 7-0 at Mariucci Arena. Christian Isaacson hat the hat trick for the Golden Gophers while Travis Boyd and Erik Haula each had two assists. Michael Shibrowski and Adam Wilcox split time in goal for the U and combined for 16 saves.
The No. 1 ranked Gopher women's team blanked St. Cloud State 4-0 at Ridder Arena. Maryanne Menefee scored two goals and Amanda Kessel had three assists. Goalie Noora Raty made 20 saves.
