(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Minnesota Twins are making some improvements to the right-field bleacher area at Target Field. The Minnesota Ballpark Authority approved the changes last week.

Twins spokesman Chris Iles says they're removing the bleachers and creating a new destination for groups, similar to the Budweiser Roof Deck but they'll be able to accomodate smaller groups. Iles says they'll also improve some sight lines and reduce concourse congestion. Iles says section 141 will be turned into a concourse extension with a standing room area and canopy with radiant heaters.

Construction starts next week and final touches will be in March.
