St. Francis School in Ellsworth held a “Blessing of the Pets” Thursday on its church grounds.

St. Francis School in Ellsworth held a “Blessing of the Pets” Thursday on its church grounds. School principal Jeanne McCoy said St. Francis is known for his love of all creation, especially animals. She also added the goal for students is to remind them to be respectful and careful for all creation, whether it’d be dogs, cats or rabbits, which were some of the animals in attendance Thursday.
