Regional News-- A college student from Stillwater was killed Monday in an apartment fire in Eau Claire.
EAU CLAIRE -- A college student from Stillwater was killed Monday in an apartment fire in Eau Claire.
Twenty-one-year-old Ross Livermore, a sophomore on leave from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, was pronounced dead at the hospital upon arrival. His college roommate, 22-year-old Jacob Clarkson, is at Hennepin County Medical Center with serious burns.
Two other roommates, also from Stillwater, escaped from the apartment -- and treated and released from a local hospital. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
