Prescott spikers stumble against Somerset

Prescott High School's volleyball team lost their regular season finale at home to Somerset Tuesday by a 3-1 score.

PRESCOTT - Prescott High School's volleyball team lost their regular season finale at home to Somerset Tuesday by a 3-1 score.

The Spartans got off to big leads in Games 1 and 4. They led the Cardinals 8-2 in Game 1 and 10-1 in Game 4.The only game Somerset didn't start with a lead in was Game 3 where Prescott took the lead right away and eventually won 25-18.

PHS rallied in both games 1 and 4 but it was too late. They fell 24-26 in Game 1, 21-25 in Game 2 and 19-25 in Game 4 after Somerset had a 20-6 lead.

PHS will have to share the Middle Border Conference title as they finished with a 6-1 league record.
