Area News-- A second Stillwater High School graduate has died after a fire at an off-campus apartment near the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.
MINNEAPOLIS -- A second Stillwater High School graduate has died after a fire at an off-campus apartment near the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. Twenty-one-year-old Jacob Clarkson suffered serious burns and died Tuesday at Hennepin County Medical Center. Twenty-one-year-old Ross Livermore, who was Clarkson's roommate and also a Stillwater graduate, died earlier. University officials say two other roommates, also graduates of Stillwater, escaped the fire with only minor injuries: Garret Isakson and Casey Malan, both 21 years old, were treated and released.
