After 35 years, Vernon Rosenberg , founder of LaVern’s Small Engine Repair, N5688 CTH J, Ellsworth, announces a partner to his business.
Tanner Knudsen joined his grandfather’s business last May and now is an official partner.
Knudsen has always been interested in mechanics, and grew up watching and helping his grandfather.
He said, “When I was little, I would go to the machines sitting outside, and get my hands all grease, then go into the shop and pretend I was helping.”
Knudsen graduated from Alexandria Technical and Community College at Alexandria, Minn., receiving his degree in marine and small engine repair. With four years of on-the-job training, Knudsen is ready to repair all small engine machines, including lawnmowers, motorcycles, ATV’s, chain saws, snowmobiles and dirt bikes. He will also do some shop machining.
