Brewers pitcher confirmed arrested in Waukesha County

-- The Waukesha County District Attorney’s office confirms Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Francisco Rodriguez was arrested last month for domestic violence and battery.

WAUKESHA - The Waukesha County District Attorney’s office confirms Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Francisco Rodriguez was arrested last month for domestic violence and battery.

The incident happened in the Town of Wales September 17th, with Rodriguez taken into custody the next day. Charges haven’t been filed yet.

Rodriguez joined the Brewers in the middle of the 2011 season and has served as primary setup man since. He was also arrested the year before he was traded to Milwaukee in 2010, accused that time of assaulting his father-in-law.
