Emcee Jack Hines of the sesquicentennial committee asked for the time capsule to be brought before a crowd gathered under the tent during Ellsworth's East End Park improvements dedication program Sunday. The capsule contained village and chamber documents, publications, an Aaron Rodgers bobblehead doll and notes from local residents.

Refreshments were sold for 25 cents apiece, representing 1962 prices. A sunny, cool fall afternoon greeted the crowd attending the event.

Rockworks
Brian Pieper of Rockworks secured the buried time capsule inside its vault in East End Park during the park improvements dedication Oct. 14. Pieper’s business was responsible for the landscaping upgrade as part of the park project.
