Wisconsin Sports-- The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titans have a 7-0 record for the first time in 89 seasons after being UW-Whitewater 28-13. That was the first WIAC loss for the Warhawks in 27 games.
WHITEWATER - The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titans have a 7-0 record for the first time in 89 seasons after being UW-Whitewater 28-13. That was the first WIAC loss for the Warhawks in 27 games.
Oshkosh scored on its first possession and never trailed. Three touchdown passes by Nate Wara put the Titans up 21-0 at half. Whitewater did manage to cut the margin to 21-13 in the second half, but got no closer. The Warhawks were able to gain just 55 yards on the ground against a tough Oshkosh defense. The teams were almost even in total yards.
Whitewater’s record falls to 5-2 overall, 3-1 in conference play. Oshkosh is 4-0.
