KANSAS CITY - Ricky Stenhouse Jr. made up a lot of ground to win yesterday’s Kansas Lottery 300.
At one point, Stenhouse was two laps down before smoking the field at the Kansas Speedway. The race went six extra laps and that’s the main reason leader Kyle Busch ran out of fuel.
Austin Dillon finished second in the Nationwide Series race. Wisconsin’s Danica Patrick finished 10th and Paul Menard was 16th.
