BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Four duck hunters are safe after their boat capsized on Three Island Lake last night in northwestern Minnesota.

Nineteen-year-olds Mitchell Kohler of Wyoming, Collin Johnson and Chase Chamberlain of Forest Lake, and 18-year-old Hunter Smith of Stacy were plucked from the frigid water by rescue crews. The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office says the owner of Woodhaven Resort and a bystander got a boat ready to launch to aid the hunters before deputies and first responders arrived.

Witnesses say the hunters had life jackets but were not wearing them. Paramedics treated all four for exposure.
