EAU CLAIRE - A 20-year-old Eau Claire man is awaiting a possible homicide charge, in connection with stabbing death during a fight.
17-year-old Bobby Vue was killed early yesterday in an apartment building in Eau Claire. Police were initially told that a large brawl was taking place in a hallway. Four other people were beaten, and were treated at local hospitals and later released. Police said the murder suspect was holding a party in the apartment – and the fight involved the use of a knife, wooden objects, and rocks. Officials said a 19-year-old man took issue at what some of the others said about his gang affiliation – but he denied the allegation to police.
The four others in the brawl face possible charges of disorderly conduct and substantial battery.
