Instead of waiting until after the holiday season, Heather Flock suggests getting a head start on staying fit now.
The owner of Fitness Influence in Ellsworth and Beldenville told Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce members Thursday about a promotion her business is offering. The “Thanksgiving-Christmas Challenge” will involve a free weigh-in, with participants paying $1 for each pound they gain. They don’t have to have a membership at the business to take advantage of the offer.
“You need this over the holidays, when people are bringing in treats,” Flock said, adding, “now’s the time to get into the studio.”
It’s so easy to gain 20 pounds by January, she said.
