GREEN BAY - The Minnesota Timberwolves did most of the damage in side, whipping the Bucks 100-76 at the Resch Center in Green Bay last night.

The loss in the final exhibition game means Milwaukee finished the preseason with a 3-5 record while Minnesota finished at 4-2.

Chase Budinger scored 20 points and Nikola Pekovic poured in 19 points and pulled down nine rebounds for the Timberwolves, who open regular season play on Nov. 2 with the Sacramento Kings. Derrick Williams added 13 points off the bench and Malcolm Lee had 10 points.

Brandon Jennings topped Bucks scoring with 19 points. Doron Lamb added a dozen, but Monta Ellis had a second straight poor shooting night. He missed 10 out of 11 shots from the field. Bucks center Joe Przybilla suffered a minor injury in the fourth quarter and both sides played bench players in the final 12 minutes.

The regular season opener for Milwaukee is next Friday at Boston, with the home opener a week from tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
