Packers open as double-digit favorites over Arizona

Wisconsin Sports
-- The Green Bay Packers will start practicing today for Sunday’s home contest against the Arizona Cardinals.

GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers will start practicing today for Sunday’s home contest against the Arizona Cardinals.

The 5-3 Packers are on a roll after winning three straight, while the Cardinals are going the other way. They’ve lost four in a row, after winning their first four games. And Las Vegas has Green Bay as a 10-to-11-point favorite on Sunday, despite an injury-depleted offense that amassed only 238 total yards against a struggling Jacksonville team last week. Arizona is coming off a 24-3 loss against San Francisco on Monday night. The Cardinals are on their second quarterback, as John Skelton has replaced an injured Kevin Kolb – and they’ve been sacked a total of 39 times this season, the most by far in the NFL.

Former Green Bay guard Daryn Colledge will return to Lambeau wearing the red-and-white, as will ex-Packers’ linebacker Paris Lenon. The Packers have won their last seven matchups against the Cardinals in Green Bay. The last time the Cards won there was in 1947, when they were the Chicago Cardinals.
