GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers try to extend their winning streak to four games in a row today against an Arizona Cardinal team which has lost four in a row.
Green Bay has been hard-hit by injuries and will have a bye week to recuperate, but not until after it faces the Big Red. It’s fading from the memory, but Arizona started the season with four straight wins. Held to just seven rushing yards last week, the Cardinals dropped their fourth in a row. The seven rushing yards total is the team’s fewest in nearly 60 years. Arizona has had troubles scoring, but its defense remains one of the best in the league. The Cardinal franchise has not won a game in Green Bay since 1947 when they were the Chicago Cardinals.
