Wilson ties for 46th at HSBC Championship, moves up in world rankings
Wisconsin Sports-- Pewaukee native Mark Wilson tied for 46th at the HSBC Champions' tournament in Guangdong China.
GUANGDONG, China - Pewaukee native Mark Wilson tied for 46th at the HSBC Champions' tournament in China.
Wilson shot a one-under-par 71 in his fourth-and-final round yesterday. And he closed out the World Golf Championships' event at one-under 287. Ian Poulter won the event at 21-under-267.

Rhinelander native Dan Forsman finished 26th for the year on the PGA Champions Tour. That's after he placed 30th-and-last at the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship in Scottsdale, Arizona. Forsman shot a two-over-par 72 in his fourth-and-final round yesterday, and he closed out the weekend at 12-over-292. Tom Lehman won both the tournament and the season-long Schwab Cup title, after going 22-under at 258.

Pewaukee native Mark Wilson rose one place to 76th in the new World Golf Rankings released this morning. Steve Stricker of Madison remains at Number-12 in the new rankings. He started the year in sixth place. The top six places are unchanged from a week ago. Rory McIlroy leads the way, followed by Tiger Woods, Luke Donald, Lee Westwood, Just Rose, and Adam Scott.
