It’s been seven years since the Milwaukee Bucks started a season at 3-and-0 – but that’s what they can achieve tonight with a home victory over Memphis. The Bucks beefed up their front-court during the off-season – and it will be tested tonight with a physical presence from Grizzlies’ 7-1 center Marc Gasol, and 255-pound forward Zach Randolph. Memphis is 2-and-1 on the young season, and Gasol scored 20-or-more points in all three of those contests. Randolph had 18 rebounds on Monday night, when Memphis won its home opener over Utah. Third-year pro Larry Sanders has become a bigger force in Milwaukee’s front-court. He has averaged 13-and-a-half points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots in the Bucks’ victories over Boston and Cleveland in the past week. Coach Scott Skiles says the biggest test for Sanders is to string together a bunch of good games – something he has not been able to do so far in his career.
