TOWN OF SALEM: NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING 11/13/12

Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday November 13th, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Salem Town Hall a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED BUDGET of the Town of Salem, Pierce County will be held.

Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday November 13th, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Salem Town Hall a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED BUDGET of the Town of Salem, Pierce County will be held. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the clerk's home by appointment.

The following is a summary of the proposed 2013 budget (see attached PDF file):

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF SALEM, PIERCE COUNTY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 immediately following completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed year 2013 budget, which begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, a special town meeting of the electors called pursuant to Section 60.12(1)(c) of Wisconsin Statutes by the town board for the following purposes will be held: 1. To adopt the 2012 town tax levy to be paid in 2013 pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(a) of Wisconsin Statutes.

2. To approve the total year 2013 highway expenditures pursuant to Section 81.01(3) of Wisconsin Statutes.

3. To set the compensation for town elected officials to be elected on April 2, 2013 and to hold the term of office from April 16, 2013 for two years pursuant to Sec. 60.32 of Wis. Statutes

SALEM TOWN BOARD NOVEMBER MEETING

The Salem Town Board will meet at the Town Hall on Tuesday, November 13th, 2012 immediately following the Budget Hearing and the Special Town Meeting. Agenda: minutes, visitors, financial report, approve bills, road report, equipment and building, adopt budget, plan commission, permits, review insurance with our insurance agent & make changes as needed, reports on meetings attended, correspondence, adjourn.
