Village’s newest park gets finishing touches

It’s a bit like an oasis in the midst of the concrete jungle.
Bonnie Langer Memorial Park is Ellsworth’s newest, an open space among the commercial buildings in the village’s west business district. The facility on the southeast corner of Main and Chestnut streets has been in development for much of this year and isn’t yet completed, though it’s getting closer.
A marker designating it by name was installed by a work crew from Melgard Monument in River Falls Thursday, for example. That action occurred exactly four years to the day from when the new park’s namesake died.
