Kelly's PGA Tour status on the line at CMN Classic

Madison golfer Jerry Kelly is not only trying to win the Children’s Miracle Network Classic, he’s also playing to keep his exemption and full ride for next year on the PGA Tour.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Madison golfer Jerry Kelly is not only trying to win the Children’s Miracle Network Classic, he’s also playing to keep his exemption and full ride for next year on the PGA Tour.

So far, so good. Kelly is tied for 30th place entering today’s third round at Lake Buena Vista, Florida. He shot a four under par 68 yesterday to go five under for the tournament.

Kelly trails second-round leader Charlie Beijan by seven strokes. He needs to finish at least 36th in the Tour finale for the year.
