U men blank UAA 4-0
Minnesota Sports-- The University of Minnesota men's hockey team shutout Alaska-Anchorage 4-0 Friday evening.
ANCHORAGE, Ala. - The University of Minnesota men's hockey team shutout Alaska-Anchorage 4-0 Friday evening at Sullivan Arena.
The Golden Gophers got the jump early on the Seawolves, scoring two first period goals. All four of the Gophers goals were on the power play as they were 4-for-6 for the game.
Kyle Rau scored twice for the U. Nick Bjugstad and Ben Marshall both scored goals. Erik Haula and Nate Schmidt each had two assists. Winning goalie Adam Wilcox made 14 saves as Minnesota outshot the Seawolves 31-14.
