GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers return to practice today, to get ready for a heavy dose of their NFC North Division opponents.

Five of their remaining seven contests are against teams from the Norris, starting next Sunday at Detroit. The Packers are coming off their bye week – but they still gained ground on first-place Chicago, after the Bears lost to Houston 13-6 last night during a heavy rain at Soldier Field. The Packers are now one game behind the 7-2 Bears – and they’re just a half-game ahead of third-place Minnesota, which improved to 6-4 with a 34-24 home win yesterday over last-place Detroit.

Green Bay is 6-3, and the Pack won its only divisional contest at home against Chicago in Week-Two. Coach Mike McCarthy says the Packers need a consistent approach to the divisional contests and to quote, “play these games the right way.”
