Webb elected to state fair group's board

Pierce County Fair Committee Chairperson Dan Reis has announced local Fair Coordinator Ann Webb was elected to the Wisconsin Association of Fairs Board of Directors at the fall district meeting in Hayward in early October.

Pierce County Fair Committee Chairperson Dan Reis has announced local Fair Coordinator Ann Webb was elected to the Wisconsin Association of Fairs Board of Directors at the fall district meeting in Hayward in early October.

Webb will represent District II for a three-year term commencing at their annual convention, which will be held in Wisconsin Dells on Jan. 6-9, 2013. District II represents 19 county fairs from the northwestern part of Wisconsin.

Rusty Volk from the Northern Wisconsin State Fair in Chippewa Falls is the other District II representative in his second year of his three-year term.

Webb has been with the Pierce County Fair for 14 years and took over as the fair coordinator starting with the 2005 fair.
