Letter: Let’s stop booze, help kids have good, clean time

TO THE EDITOR: I just saw in the Herald that the court upheld a man’s 12th OWI.
I wonder how he ever got drinking? I say the first drink leads to the second, etc.
Now the village board is to meet on beer sales at the fair. The fair is for kids and everyone else that enjoys the fair. So I have my first drink, boy that’s good, give me another, and then I get picked up for drinking, wonderful.
Come on, let’s stop this booze and help our kids have a good clean time without all this drinking, etc. It hurts to see our young folks getting killed or killing someone else on the road.
All because it started by that first drink.
