Notice of School Board Election

(Ss. 120.06(6)(b), Wi Statutes)

Notice is hereby given to qualified electors of the Ellsworth Community School District that a school board election will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, to fill the following board positions: three seats, currently held by Laurie Andrews, Dan Kaler, and Doug Peterson. The term of office for school board members is three years beginning on Monday, April 22, 2013.

Notice is further given that a Campaign Registration Statement and a Declaration of Candidacy must be filed no later than 5:00 pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in the School District Office, 300 Hillcrest Street (High School Building), Ellsworth, WI. Campaign Registration Statements and Declaration of Candidacy papers may be picked up at the District Office.

Notice is further given that if a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013.

A description of the school district boundaries can be obtained at the School District Office.
