Minnesota women pucksters blank Minnesota State
Minnesota Sports-- Hannah Brandt had two goals and an assist in leading the University of Minnesota women's hockey team to a 3-0 shutout of Minnesota State Friday at Ridder Arena.
MINNEAPOLIS - Hannah Brandt had two goals and an assist in leading the University of Minnesota women's hockey to to a 3-0 shutout of Minnesota State Friday at Ridder Arena.
Brandt's first goal plus another one by Maryanne Menefee put the U up 2-0 after the first period. Brandt added her second goal in the third period.
Winning goalie Noora Raty made 24 saves as the No. 1 Golden Gophers remain undefeated at 13-0-0. Game 2 of the series is this afternoon at 4:05 p.m. at Ridder Arena.
