Wisconsin officials say three deer hunters have suffered mostly minor injuries not in the opening day of the state’s firearms deer hunting season.
One hunter suffered a hand wound in Manitowoc County. Department of Natural Resources wardens say he was hit when another hunter shot at a running deer. That happened during a deer drive. Two other hunters were injured when they fell from deer stands.
All the injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
