RIVER FALLS - Students at UW-River Falls are getting a marketing lesson while doing a good deed for people in need.
A group of marketing communication students will sponsor a bean-bag tournament on November 29th – and all the proceeds will go to the Feeding America charity to help victims of Hurricane Sandy. The event will be held at Junior’s Bar and Restaurant in River Falls – and there will be an entry fee for teams, plus a suggested donation by those attending.
Live music will follow the bean-bag competition. The event is being organized as part of class at River Falls on sales promotions and event planning.
