Barker posted the letter onto an internet blog forum, and the rambling dissertation has already gained national attention. In the letter, Barker accuses Kill of being a being master manipulator who ridiculed him to the point of not wanting to play for Minnesota anymore. Barker says he was unhappy with how Kill treated him while he was recovering from an ankle injury. Barker also questioned why he had not been awarded an athletic scholarship despite leading the team in receiving this season. In addition, Barker accused one of Kill's assistant coaches of one time calling Barker by a derogatory word that carries negative social undertones.
