Brock Westfield was in a bow stand when he took down a doe around 9:15 a.m. Saturday while hunting along CTH A. Westfield shot at the animal through a gap between some trees.

Reglin
Jesse Reglin of Ellsworth registered an approximately 120-pound doe at SuperAmerica in Ellsworth around 10 a.m. on opening day of the gun-deer season. Reglin was hunting from a stand west of town when he shot the animal, around 10 a.m.

Eichman
Ben Eichman was hunting around 7 a.m. Saturday when he brought down his buck. The approximately 150 pounder was a four-pointer, showing a half-rack.
