Golden Gopher pucksters pound Vermont 5-1
Minnesota Sports-- Three-second period goals sent the University of Minnesota men's hockey team
BURLINGTON, Vt. - Three-second period goals sent the University of Minnesota men's hockey team to a 5-1 win over Vermont Friday evening.
Kyle Rau and Zach Budish both had a goal and an assist for the No. 4 ranked Golden Gophers and also scoring were Seth Ambroz, Nick Bjugstad and Mike Reilly. Winning goalie Adam Wilcox made 22 saves.
The Gophers improve to 7-2-2 overall and play the Catamounts again tonight starting a 6:05 p.m.
