(Sacramento, CA) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves snapped a five-game losing streak by beating the Kings 97-89 last night in Sacramento.
Kevin Love had a monster game for Minnesota, scoring 23 points and grabbing an NBA season-high 24 rebounds. All five of the Wolves' starters scored in double figures for the first time this season. Nikola Pekovic had 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists; Luke Ridnour scored 18; Andrei Kirilenko finished with 14 points, six rebounds and five assists; and Malcom Lee added ten points.
Minnesota outrebounded Sacramento 51-36 and held an opponent to under 90 points for the sixth time. The 6-7 Wolves play the Clippers tonight at Staples Center in Los Angeles beginning at 9:30 p.m.
