Letter: Church appreciates community’s support of basket project

TO THE EDITOR: The Confirmation kids of the English Lutheran Church hung flyers around the community asking for donations for Thanksgiving Baskets for families in need within the Ellsworth School District.
The flyers stated that they would return in two weeks to collect any items. They collected enough food donations to fill 33 baskets with entire Thanksgiving meals.
The English Lutheran Church would like to express its sincere appreciation to the Ellsworth Community for their help in making this a very Happy Thanksgiving for those families.
