Packers vs. Vikings Round-up: Two Minnesota players clear concussion tests
Regional Sports-- Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph and safety Harrison Smith have both been cleared to practice after suffering concussions this past Sunday.
(Eden Prairie, MN) -- Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph and safety Harrison Smith have both been cleared to practice after suffering concussions this past Sunday.
Rudolph still missed practice Wednesday due to a shoulder strain. Wide out Percy Harvin also tested his ankle during practice but was not at full speed.

Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings was a full participant at practice yesterday and has been cleared to play Sunday against the Vikings. Jennings has missed the last seven games with an abdominal tear. The 29-year-old has 12 catches for 78 yards and one touchdown in three games this season.

Green Bay Packers’ coach Mike McCarthy says the offensive line was not the only unit that struggled in the Pack’s loss to the Giants last Sunday night. But the line’s been getting the most heat for letting Aaron Rodgers get sacked five times. Still, McCarthy says he won’t make any changes to the O-line this Sunday, when Green Bay hosts the Minnesota Vikings in a pivotal NFC North Division battle. The coach says he doesn’t buy the idea that two of the five line positions got weaker after right tackle Bryan Bulaga went out for the season with a hip injury. Left guard T.J. Lang moved to right tackle, while Evan Dietrich-Smith moved into Lang’s old guard spot. McCarthy could have made only one move on the line, by putting rookie Don Barclay into Bulaga’s spot. But McCarthy said it’s more important to put the best five linemen on the field – and he says the linemen have been cross-trained to play more than one position if need be.
Meanwhile, the coach says it would be a stretch to have Clay Matthews return against the Vikings. The All-Pro linebacker injured a hamstring almost a month ago, although he’s said to be getting close to returning.

The Vikings continue to prepare for Sunday's NFC North showdown with the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. Minnesota has dropped three-of-four following last week's 28-10 loss in Chicago. The Vikings sit at 6-5, two games behind the division-leading Bears and one game behind Green Bay.
