Town board seats throughout Pierce County open for election in spring
Town board members throughout Pierce County will have expiring terms in next spring’s election.
Town board members throughout Pierce County will have expiring terms in next spring’s election.
The seats they presently hold will be up for election on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. The terms are for two years.
The towns will hold caucus meetings next month to nominate candidates for the seats, with the exception of the Town of Trenton, which uses the circulation of nomination papers instead. Those were to be circulated starting Dec. 1 and filed by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013.
If a primary election is necessary, it would be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013.
