An excavating crew from Tjader and Highstrom of New Richmond was busy burying fiber optic cable in Ellsworth Thursday.

An excavating crew from Thaider and Highstrom of New Richmond was busy burying fiber optic cable in Ellsworth Thursday. The project, for AT&T, extends from the local phone company facility to CTH OO west of the village. The work began last week and is expected to be completed in two-and-a-half weeks. The crew was dealing with a spool and cable in the triangular lot between Hwy. 10-63 and Old West Main Street Thursday afternoon.
