Minnesota News-- Minnesota Twins general manager Terry Ryan says opening day at the Major League Baseball Winter Meetings was a busy one.
NASHVILLE -- Minnesota Twins general manager Terry Ryan says opening day at the Major League Baseball Winter Meetings was a busy one.
Ryan, who says he is shopping for starting pitching, spent much of the day bunkered in his room talking with agents and other general managers. He says he can't ever remember talking to more people in a single day of the winter meetings.
No deals were struck by the Twins, but Ryan says the discussions with various people were productive yesterday.
