Milltown man protests his innocence in murder case

MILLTOWN - A Wisconsin man says he is the one who made the 911 call which led police to a dead body, but Scott Youngmark says he didn’t kill the victim.

The Milltown man will likely face charges connected to 47 year old Kari Roberts’ dead from what appears to be blunt-force trauma. Roberts dead body was discovered early Saturday in the apartment she shared with the 45 year old Youngmark on Main Street in Milltown.

He called police from his mother’s house at about 1:20 a.m., saying someone was hurt badly at the apartment. An autopsy has been performed on the victim. Youngmark was arrested after a test showed he had been drinking, which violated his bond. He was out of jail on other felony charges at the time. When he first called police, Youngmark didn’t identify himself, but he later admitted he’d made the call.
