Peter J. Hince, age 63, of Plum City, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 8, at his home, after a 3-year battle with cancer.
Peter was born May 5, 1949, at the Plum City Hospital. He was the son of Frank H. and Gloria (Kadinger) Hince and was raised on the family farm until he graduated from Plum City High School in 1967. Peter enlisted and served during Vietnam as an airplane mechanic for the U.S. Air Force from March 6, 1968, to March 3, 1972.
On May 12, 1973, Peter married Yvonne Erickson of Baldwin and shortly thereafter began their life together. Peter was a strong, independent, simple man who strongly believed in God and the importance of family. These are just two lessons of many he instilled in his daughters. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Patrick.
