BID DEADLINE: January 11, 2013, 2:00 p.m., Local Time

NOTICE

Sealed bids for the above project will be received until the Bid Deadline by Scott Walker, Maintenance Supervisor, as follows:

* By Mail or Package Delivery Service: At the Pierce County Courthouse, 414 West Main Street, Ellsworth, WI 54011.

* By Personal Delivery Beginning 1/2 Hour Prior to the Bid Deadline: At the Maintenance Office, 428 West Grove Street, Ellsworth, WI 54011.

Immediately after the Bid Deadline, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Maintenance Office.

In general the project consists of restroom remodeling in the lower level Courthouse Annex, lower level Courthouse, and ground floor Courthouse; and remodeling in a portion of the upper floor of the Courthouse to create new toilet rooms, office, and conference rooms. The project also includes associated asbestos-abatement, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.

A pre-bid meeting to examine the project site will be held on December 21, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Meet at the Maintenance Office, 428 West Grove Street, Ellsworth, WI 54011.

A single prime bid will be received for the work.

BID SECURITY

Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the Bid Deadline.

Bid security will be retained if the Bidder is awarded the Work and fails to execute the Agreement and furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds.

WAGE RATES

State prevailing wage rates are applicable to this project.

QUALIFICATIONS

If requested, the apparent low bidder will be required to submit evidence of qualifications to the Owner prior to award of contract.

RIGHTS RESERVED

Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in any bid.

Bidding documents may be examined at Builders Exchanges in Eau Claire, La Crosse, and Wausau, WI; at Builders Exchanges in Minneapolis, Rochester, and St. Paul, MN; at the iSqFt & AGC of MN Planroom in St. Paul, MN; at the MEDA Construction Connection in Minneapolis, MN; at the Dodge Plan Room in Minneapolis; and through the electronic plan rooms of McGraw-Hill Construction Dodge and Reed Construction Data.
