The 82 points were the most for the Badgers since November of 2010 against Kansas. Breana Turner scored 25 for Florida Atlantic, which dropped to 5-4. Wisconsin improved to 6-3, and will host Eastern Illinois on Saturday.
Badgers’ guard Nicole Bauman has been named the Big Ten’s co-freshman-of-the-week. She shared the honor with Taylor Manuel of Purdue. Bauman scored a season-high 16 points against Marquette last Wednesday night – and she made two free throws with 14 seconds left to seal her team’s three-point victory. Bauman is the first Badger to receive her league’s weekly freshman award since Taylor Wurtz in January of 2010.
