Pierce County VFW keeps active in central Ellsworth location

Now headquartered in the center of Pierce County, members of VFW Post 9060 are staying as active as ever.
Sure, they no longer operate a bar like once when they were based in Prescott, but there are plenty of other projects and fundraisers to keep them busy. Moreover, Commander Bob Fiedler, Senior Vice Commander Dick DeCosta and Trustee Grant Wolf agreed earlier this month their new centralized location is advantageous to growing interest in the organization.
“We were chartered as Pierce County VFW Post 9060, but Prescott residents initiated it,” Wolf said.
