Both Prescott and Ellsworth take on each other in Hwy. 10 Rivalry games in girls and boys basketball. The PHS-EHS girls hoops' games is tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Ellsworth while the boys' contest is Thursday also beginning at the same time in Prescott.
The Ellsworth girls will look to stop Prescott's four-game winning streak which has them in second place in the Middle Border Conference while also stopping a three-game losing streak on their part.
Meanwhile, the Prescott boys need a win to stay in the top half of the MBC after losing to both Baldwin-Woodville and Somerset. The Ellsworth's boys team is too looking to stop a three-game losing streak.
Another rivalry game on tap is the Eau Galle River clash between Spring Valley and Elmwood in boys' basketball Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Spring Valley. Elmwood will try for its fifth Dunn-St. Croix Conference win which will keep them a game and a half behind league leader and No. 7 ranked Elk Mound. The unbeaten Mounders are at Plum City Thursday.
All three county girls basketball teams in the D-SC will be at home for games Friday. Spring Valley hosts Elk Mound, Elmwood takes on Boyceville and Plum City faces Mondovi.
