Red Wing schools try to return to normal after lockdown

Schools in Red Wing are at least somewhat back to normal after Wednesday's lock down.

RED WING -- Schools in Red Wing are at least somewhat back to normal after Wednesday's lock down.

It was prompted by a student receiving a call at home saying "your school is next," plus bullets found on a schoolbus -- which a student later told officials had dropped out of his pocket.

Red Wing Police Chief Roger Pohlman says the threat was not valid and "the school took the proper actions to ensure the safety of the students." But Pohlman says there was "some concern" over the string of events, given the school shootings in Connecticut.
