(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Minnesota Twins announced Thursday that the club came to terms with right handed pitcher Mike Pelfrey to a one-year, $4 million contract.
Pelfrey, 28, made just three start for the New York Mets in 2012 before having Tommy John surgery on May 1.
The 6-foot-7, 230-pound righty has a career record of 50-54 with a 4.36 ERA, 506 strikeouts and 318 walks in 153 appearances. He notched a career high 15 wins in 2010.
