The Spring Valley woman who was accused of hitting three children with cornstalks had her court cases resolved Dec. 13.
Tracy L. Blair, 41, pled guilty to one count of child abuse to recklessly cause harm, one count to battery to law enforcement officers and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (4th) with a minor in the vehicle, as part of the agreement, relating from three separate incidents.
As a result, she was sentenced to three years’ probation for the OWI charge and entered into a deferred prosecution agreement of two years for the child abuse and three years for the police battery.
Probation conditions she must follow include four months jail, with huber privileges for childcare, work and treatment, participate and successfully complete the Pierce County Drug Court program, provide DNA sample and surcharge, no possession or consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs, and complete alcohol assessment and driver’s safety plan. Blair will also have her license revoked for the next 24 months.
