CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated Milwaukee for the first time in their last 10 meetings by a 94-82 margin on the Bucks’ home court Saturday night.

The Cavs had lost to the Bucks in the last nine meetings of the two clubs. They also stopped a six-game losing streak in this young NBA season. Dion Waiters led Cleveland with 18 points. Though Bucks guard Brandon Jennings had a cold hand last night, Monta Ellis was lighting it up. He scored a season-high 37 points, hitting 15-of-27 from the floor.

A slow start doomed the Bucks, though they did cut the margin to just four points with six and a half minutes to go. Milwaukee players rejected the suggestion they were tired after beating Boston 99-94 in overtime the night before. Cleveland was also playing on consecutive nights.
