January 3, 2013 – 11:00 am. Courthouse - County Board Room, 414 W. Main St. – Ellsworth, WI. 1. Call to order: 1a. Establish quorum, 1b. Committee will receive public comment not related to agenda items; 2. Consent calendar – Discuss and take action on: 2a. Establish and approve agenda, 2b. Approve minutes of 12/18/12, 2c. Treasurer’s report on previous months finance activities and fund balances; 2d. Accept Preventive Health and Health Services 2013 block grant and associated budget; 3. Discuss and take action on Ordinance to Amend Chapter 184 of the Pierce County Code Food Establishments and Public Accommodations to Establish Agent Status for the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP); 4. Discuss and take action to consider adopting post-issuance tax compliance procedures for tax- exempt and tax-advantaged bonds; 5. Discuss and take action on jurisdictional transfer of a portion of CTH U between County of Pierce and Town of Union; 6. Discuss and take action on resolution urging State legislators to vote in favor of Transportation Dollars for Transportation; 7. Discuss and take action to consider hiring a consultant to assist the Finance & Personnel Committee and the Ad Hoc Committee regarding jail issues and liability concerns; 8. Discuss and take action to establish 2013 salaries and benefits for non-represented employees; 9. Future agenda items; 10. Next meeting date; 11. Adjourn.
